ZOOM-G-GPRS

The ZOOM-G-GPRS is a quikCONNECT ZOOM 2G / GPRS modem. The ZOOM-G-GPRS is the GPRS version with onboard GPS functionality. This is a GNSS combined solution that supports the dual constellation of GPS and GLONASS, significantly boosting the satellite receiver’s overall performance, enabling new location aware applications in segments such as OEM automotive, fleet management, PDA’s, mobile computing, livestock tracking. The ZOOM socket modems are designed to be plugged onto user's own PCB via standard 2 x 20 way pin header connectors. The two headers incorporate TTL level RS232 and USB interfaces, 10 GPIO lines and power. The ZOOM series also has an unusually wide power supply capability of 5-42V, enabling compatibility with a wide range of applications.

• Operating frequencies are 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz (Quad Band GSM/GPRS), 1575.42MHz (GPS)
• Output power for class 4 is 2W at 850MHz, 900MHz and class 1 (1W) at 1800MHz, 1900MHz
• Sensitivity is 107dBm (typ) at 850MHz, 900MHz, 106dBm (typ) at 1800MHz, 1900MHz
• SMA female connector, IDC 20way headers connector interfaces
• Sim card holder with 1.8V / 3V interface, 2 x IDE 20 way connectors, 10 I/O ports
• Fully type approved conforming with R&TTE directive, CE certified
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
• Fully developed and debugged GPRS, GPS & GLONASS platform
• Group 3, class 1 fax, point-to-point mobile originated and mobile terminated SMS
• Call forwarding, call barring, call waiting and call hold, CLIP, CLIR, USSD
