AD5423BCPZ is a single-channel, voltage, and current output digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) that operates with a power supply range from -33V minimum on AVSS to +33V maximum on AVDD1. The CHART pin enables a Highway Addressable Remote Transducer® (HART) signal to be coupled to the current output. It uses a versatile, 4-wire, serial peripheral interface (SPI) that operates at clock rates of upto 50MHz and is compatible with standard SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, digital signal processor (DSP), and microcontroller interface standards. The interface also features an optional SPI cyclic redundancy check (CRC) and a watchdog timer (WDT). It is used in applications such as process control, actuator control, channel isolated analogue outputs, programmable logic controller (PLC) and distributed control systems (DCS) applications, and HART network connectivity.

- Output noise (0.1Hz to 10Hz) is 7µV p-p typical at (AVDD1 = 15V, AVDD2 = 5V)
- Slew rate is 3V/µs typical at (AVDD1 = 15V, AVDD2 = 5V, AVSS = -15V)
- Digital-to-analogue glitch energy is 7nV-sec typical at (AVDD1 = 15V, AVDD2 = 5V, AVSS = -15V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +115°C, 32-lead LFCSP package
