ADCMP582 is a ultrafast SiGe voltage comparator fabricated on the Analog Devices, Inc. proprietary XFCB3 Silicon Germanium bipolar process. It features CML output drivers. It offers 180ps propagation delay and 100ps minimum pulse width for 10Gbps operation with 200fs random jitter. Overdrive and slew rate dispersion are typically less than 15ps. The ±5V power supplies enable a wide -2V to +3V input range with logic levels referenced to the CML/NECL/PECL outputs. The inputs have 50 ohm on-chip termination resistors with the optional capability to be left open for applications requiring high impedance input. The CML output stage is designed to directly drive 400mV into 50 ohm transmission lines terminated to ground. Application includes automatic test equipment, high speed instrumentation, pulse spectroscopy, medical imaging and diagnostics, high speed line receivers, threshold detection, peak and zero-crossing detectors, high speed trigger circuitry, clock and data signal restoration.

• Power supply rejection ratio (VCCI) is 75dB typical at (VCCI = 5V + 5%)
• Input voltage range from -2V to +3V (VCCI = 5V, VEE = -5V)
• 60dB typical common-mode rejection ratio (VCM = -2V to +3V)
• 16 lead LFCSP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
