AES-VE2302-DK-G

AES-VE2302-DK-G is a VE2302 Development Kit (DK) designed to evaluate Avnet’s VE2302 System-on-Module (SOM) and AI Edge IO Carrier Card, enabling designers to explore the capabilities of the AMD Versal™ AI Edge Adaptive SoC. It provides access to 80 XPIO, 22 HDIO, 13 PMC MIO, 12 LPD MIO, and 8 GTYP transceivers from the SOM through three 160-pin Samtec AcceleRate® HD connectors. The first connector supports processor-based interfaces such as USB2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, CAN, microSD, push buttons, LEDs, and debug ports like JTAG, UART, and SYSMON, along with one HSIO TXR2 expansion site. The second connector maps to four 22-pin MIPI (CSI/DSI) interfaces, push buttons, dipswitch, and LEDs using XPIO banks. The third connector provides GTYP transceivers for HDMI 2.1 TX/RX, two zSFP+ interfaces, and the HSIO TXR2 expansion site, with clocks sourced from an on-board Renesas programmable generator.
