This SMD MLCC in X7R dielectric is suited for a variety of applications requiring proven, reliable performance in harsh environments. Stricter testing protocol and inspection criteria have been established for automotive grade products in recognition of potentially harsh environmental conditions. The Electronics Industries Alliance (EIA) characterizes X7R dielectric as a Class II material. Typical applications include decoupling, bypass, filtering and transient voltage suppression.
