The 3399-6626 is a 26-way 2-row 0.100 x 0.100-inch Wire-to-board Socket for 0.050-inch pitch cable with gold-plated copper contacts. This 3000 series socket comes with glass filled polyester (PBT) insulation and accommodates 28/26AWG solid and stranded wire. It has open end cover (for daisy chaining or bussing), military polarization with centerbump and 26-contacts for plastic strain relief. The wire mount socket mates with 3M headers, plugs and pin strips for quick connect/disconnect capability. Transfer adhesive on covers provides precision alignment between connector and cables resulting in high yield terminations.
