The OT40F3 switch disconnector is an accessory from ABB's series of manually operated switch disconnectors which are and the choice of installation position enables a high degree of flexibility and efficiency in planning. The 3-pole, front operated and non-fusible disconnector switch is largely used as the main switch in low voltage switchgears for distribution of power, starting and stopping motors, and isolating loads during maintenance. It is also enclosed in metal or plastic boxes as a safety switch to ensure that machines are not started accidentally. The OT series switches currents from 16 A to 4000 A, at voltages of up to 1000 V AC. These high-performance switches are very easy to use and take up little space.
