EGel3000 silicone gel is one of a family of soft, adherent, silicone elastomeric gels designed for the encapsulation and protection of electronic components. It is a low viscosity, 2-component system that is readily mixed in a 1:1 ratio. It is used to provide protection from vibration, thermal or mechanical shock and protection from water and many environmental contaminants. It has excellent dielectric properties. Application include water flow meter potting.

• Cure type is addition, de-mould time/full cure at 23°C/73°F is <lt/>24hours
• Density is 0.97g/cm³ (BS ISO 2781), dispensing method bottle
• Colour is transparent, weight is 2kg
• Working temperature is -55°C minimum, 200°C maximum
• Thermal conductivity is 0.18W/mK, dielectric constant is 2.82 (ASTM D150)
• Dielectric strength is <gt/>470V/mil
• Shelf life is 18months
