AD5721BCPZ-RL7 is a single channel, 12bit serial input, voltage output, digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). It uses a serial interface that operates at clock rates of upto 50MHz and is compatible with DSP and microcontroller interface standards. Double buffering allows the asynchronous updating of the DAC output. The input coding is user-selectable two complement or straight binary. The asynchronous reset function resets all registers to their default state. The output range is user selectable, via the RA[2:0] bits in the control register. It is used in applications such as industrial automation, instrumentation, data acquisition, open-/closed-loop servo control, process control, and programmable logic controllers.

- Signal-to-noise ratio is 92dB typ at (ambient, 2.5V external reference, BW = 20KHz, fOUT = 1KHz)
- Gain error is +0.1% FSR maximum at (VDD1 = 4.75V to 30V, VSS1 = -16.5V to 0V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 16-lead LFCSP package
