AD7389-4BCPZ is a 16-bit, quad, simultaneous sampling, high speed, successive approximation register (SAR), analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a 3V to 3.6V power supply and features throughput rates upto 2MSPS. The analogue input type is differential, accepts a wide common-mode input voltage, and the analogue inputs are sampled and converted on the falling edge of active-low CS. It has on-chip oversampling blocks to improve dynamic range and reduce noise at lower bandwidths. The oversampling can boost upto two bits of added resolution. A buffered internal 2.5V reference (10ppm/°C) is included. The conversion process and data acquisition use standard control inputs allowing for easy interfacing with microprocessors or digital signal processors (DSPs). It is used in applications such as motor control position feedback, motor control current sense, data acquisition systems, erbium-doped fibre amplifier (EDFA) applications, and In-phase and quadrature demodulation.

- Input bandwidth is 6.6MHz typical at (-0.1dB, VCC = 3V to 3.6V, VLOGIC = 1.65V to 3.6V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 24-lead LFCSP package
