AD830 is a wideband, differencing amplifier designed for use at video frequencies but also useful in many other applications. It accurately amplifies a fully differential signal at the input and produces an output voltage referred to a user-chosen level. The undesired common-mode signal is rejected, even at high frequencies. High impedance inputs ease interfacing to finite source impedances and, thus, preserve the excellent common mode rejection. In many respects, it offers significant improvements over discrete difference amplifier approaches, in particular in high frequency common-mode rejection. It is widely used in application such as differential line receiver, high speed level shifter, high speed in-amp, differential to single-ended conversion, resistor less summation and subtraction, high speed analogue-to-digital converter etc.

- Built-in differential clipping level is ±2.3V typ, offset voltage is 1.5mV typ
- Unity gain bandwidth is 85MHz typ, fast dynamic performance
- Settling time to 0.1% is 35ns typ, slew rate is 360V/μs typ
- Symmetrical dynamic response, excellent video specifications
- Differential gain error is 0.06% typ, differential phase error is 0.08° typ
- 0.1dB bandwidth is 15MHz typ, flexible operation
- High output drive of ±50mA min, low distortion: THD = −72dB typ at 4MHz
- Operating temperature is −40°C to +85°C, package style is 8-lead SOIC-N
