ADCMP582 is an ultrafast voltage comparator fabricated on the Analog Devices, Inc. proprietary XFCB3 Silicon Germanium(SiGe) bipolar process. The ADCMP582 features reduced swing PECL (positive ECL) output drivers. Typical application includes automatic test equipment (ATE), high speed instrumentation, pulse spectroscopy, medical imaging and diagnostics, high speed line receivers, threshold detection, peak and zero-crossing detectors, high speed trigger circuitry and clock and data signal restoration.

• 180ps propagation delay
• 25ps overdrive and slew rate dispersion
• 8GHz equivalent input rise time bandwidth
• 100ps minimum pulse width and 37ps typical output rise/fall
• 10ps deterministic jitter (DJ) and 200fs random jitter (RJ)
• Input range from -2V to +3V with +5V/-5V supplies
• On-chip terminations at both input pins and resistor-programmable hysteresis
• Differential latch control and power supply rejection <gt/> 70dB
• 16 lead LFCSP package
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
