ADR292 is a low noise, micropower precision voltage reference. It uses an XFET® reference circuit. The new XFET architecture offers significant performance improvements over traditional band gap and buried zener-based references. Improvements include one quarter the voltage noise output of band gap references operating at the same current, very low and ultra linear temperature drift, low thermal hysteresis, and excellent long-term stability. This voltage reference is widely used in application such as portable instrumentation, precision reference for 3V and 5V systems, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converter reference, solar-powered applications, loop-current-powered instruments etc.

• Supply voltage range is 4.4V to 15V
• Output voltage range is 4.096V typ
• Supply current range is 18μA maximum at (−40°C ≤ TA ≤ +125°C)
• Noise voltage range is 12μV p-p typ at (0.1Hz to 10Hz)
• Operating temperature range is −40°C to +125°C
• Initial accuracy is ±0.24%
• Temperature coefficient is 25ppm/°C
• Long term stability is 50ppm at (After 1000hours of operation at 125°C)
• Line regulation is 40ppm/V typ and load regulation is 40ppm/V typ at (VS = 3.0V to 15V, TA = 25°C)
• Packaging style is 8-lead TSSOP
