MAX213EEWI+

The MAX213EEWI+ is a TTL tri-state ±15KV ESD protected, +5V RS232 transceiver in 28 pin WSOIC package. It is a RS232 and V.28 transceiver with high ±15KV ESD HBM (Human Body Model) protection and integrated charge pump circuitry for single 5V supply operation. This transceiver meets all EIA/TIA232E and CCITT V.28 specifications at data rate up to 120Kbps when loaded. The device is typically used in battery powered equipment.

• Supply voltage range from 4.5V to 5.5V
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
• Supply current is 14mA
• Four 0.1µF external capacitors
• Saves board space
• Shutdown supply current is 15µA to save power for reduced power requirement
