The MAX6425UK46+T is a low power microprocessor (µP) reset circuit with capacitor adjustable reset timeout delay in 5 pin SOT-23 package. The device performs a single function that is it asserts a reset signal whenever the VCC supply voltage falls below its reset threshold. The reset output remains asserted for the reset timeout period after VCC rises above the reset threshold. The reset timeout is externally set by a capacitor to provide more flexibility. The MAX6425 has an active-low, open-drain reset output. It is typically used in portable equipments, battery powered computers/controllers, automotive, medical equipment, intelligent instruments, embedded controllers, critical µP monitoring, set-top boxes and computers.
- Supply voltage range from 1V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
- Low quiescent current of 1.6μA (VCC ≤ 2V)
- Reset valid to VCC = 1V
- Immune to short VCC transients
- Reset threshold voltage of 4.625V
- Reset timeout period of 4.375ms (CSRT = 1500pF), 0.275ms (CSRT = 0)
- VCC to reset delay of 80µs (VCC falling at 1mV/µs)
