SEN0636 is a Gravity: UV Index sensor (240-370nm, UVA, UVB, UVC). This is a highly sensitive device designed to measure ultraviolet (UV) radiation in the wavelength range of 240-370nm, which includes UVA, UVB, and UVC wavelengths. The sensor primarily focuses on the UVB range, making it ideal for applications such as skin health assessment and UV index monitoring. This device directly outputs the UV index from 0 to 11 and provides a harm risk warning from 1 to 5, eliminating need for additional calculations. It is versatile, supporting both I2C and UART communication methods, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of host control systems. Suitable for environmental monitoring, health protection (can monitor UV intensity, alerting users to protect their skin from excessive UV exposure), photovoltaic systems, agriculture and laboratory research (In scientific research, it is used to measure and analyse the impact of UV radiation on different materials or organisms) applications.
