LM4040C30FTA is a precision micropower shunt voltage reference. The device is designed to be highly tolerant of capacitive loads, which maintains excellent stability. This device offers a pin for pin compatible alternative to the LM4040 voltage reference. Typical applications include battery powered equipment, precision power supplies, portable instrumentation, portable communications devices, notebook and palmtop computers, data acquisition systems.

• Output voltage tolerance is ±0.5% at +25°C
• Reverse current is 15mA maximum
• Reverse breakdown voltage is 3V typ at TA=+25°C, IR=100µA
• Minimum operating current is 62µA typ at +25°C
• Average reverse breakdown voltage temperature coefficient is ±100ppm/°C typ at -40 to +125°C, IR=1mA
• Noise voltage is 35µVRMS typ at IR=100µA, 10Hz < f < 10kHz
• Dynamic output impedance is 0.9ohm typ at IR=1mA, f=120Hz, IAC=0.1IR
