BTS4142NHUMA1 is a high-side power switch with integrated vertical power FET, providing embedded protection and diagnostic functions. It is an N-channel vertical power FET with a charge pump, ground reference CMOS compatible input, monolithically integrated in Smart SIPMOS® technology. Potential applications include truck and agriculture vehicle solutions (24V), power train / clutch transmission, automotive lighting, body control module, seat control, decentralized mirror module, decentralized light module, start and stop transmission, HEV main battery pack, infotainment system.

• Overload protection, thermal shutdown with restart
• Overvoltage protection (including load dump), undervoltage shutdown with auto restart and hysteresis
• Switching inductive load, clamp of negative output voltage with inductive loads
• CMOS compatible input, thermal shutdown with restart, ESD protection
• Loss GND and loss Vbb protection, very low stand by current, AEC qualified
• Reverse battery protection with external resistor, improved electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
• Negative voltage clamped at output with inductive loads
• Current limitation, very low standby current, thermal shutdown with restart
• 1.4A current limit, 3A short circuit current, 1.4A load current
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, PG-SOT223-4 package
