MIKROE-1888 is an IrThermo 2 Click is a compact add-on board that allows contactless measurement of the object’s temperature. This board features the TMP007, an infrared thermopile sensor with an integrated Math Engine from Texas Instruments. It is a low-power, fully integrated microelectromechanical system (MEMS) that absorbs passive infrared energy from an object at wavelengths between 4μm to 16μm within the end-user-defined field of view. The TMP007 has a measurement range between –40°C to 125°C, with a 14-bit resolution of the local temperature sensor for cold junction reference. This Click board™ makes the perfect solution for noncontact temperature sensing, gas concentration, flame detection, and more. IrThermo 2 Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development.
