779651-04 is a GPIB-120B high-speed bus isolator/expander designed to connect two GPIB (IEEE 488) systems in a functionally transparent manner without requiring changes to user software. It provides electrical isolation between connected GPIB systems and the power supply, helping protect equipment and improve signal integrity. The device also expands the GPIB network to support up to 28 devices and effectively doubles the standard 20 m cable distance limitation for extended communication range. In addition, the GPIB-120B supports flexible installation with optional rack-mount or DIN rail-mount hardware accessories, making it suitable for industrial, laboratory, and automated test environments.
