The Startech DVIVGAMF8IN is a short DVI to VGA cable used to adapt a DVI male connector to a VGA female connector, enabling you to connect a Flat Panel Display to a PC or Mac computer with DVI-I output. The adaptor resituates the VGA connector approximately 8" away from the DVI output, effectively reducing strain on the DVI connector while also reducing the potential of blocking nearby ports.
