P021GI-NETWORK-CARD is a 2-Port GbE SFP network card. Add up to two 1GbE SFP modules to a PCI Express (PCIe) 2.0 x1 (or higher) slot in an IT Administrator workstation or server backplane, using this 2-Port SFP network controller. Support for VMDq, SR-IOV, and Intel® VT-c technologies allow for enhanced virtual machine performance, reduced CPU overhead, and improved network virtualization capabilities. It also features 9K jumbo frame support, reducing packet overhead for improved data transmission efficiency. VLAN tagging support allows for efficient network management and segmentation. The network interface controller connects to an available x1 PCI Express 2.0 (or higher) expansion slot. This NIC is compatible with both MSA-compliant and branded 1GB SFP modules, as well as DACC. The card features two SFP slots for interchangeable SFP modules. Select fibre transceiver modules that best suit the network needs of the application, based on the distance and connector type.
