The Startech USB3AAEXT5M is an all-in-one 5m USB-A extension cable for overcoming the standard distance limitation of USB. The extension cable incorporates an active circuit to provide bus-power and data transfer for USB 3.0 devices, and multiple cables can be daisy-chained for even longer runs. The extension cable also comes with a universal power adaptor, allowing a USB device to be powered directly from a wall socket.
