The 2409MM-2 is a 2m audio/video Cable Assembly with mini DisplayPort plug to mini DisplayPort plug connection. The mini DisplayPort 1.1a compliant cable is designed to be used to connect equipment that feature the mini DisplayPort connector. It supports high definition video as well as multi channel digital audio. Male to female options are provided to extend existing cable lengths. The DisplayPort cable is designed to carry both digital audio and video data from a device to a display unit. It is intended to replace the DVI standard and supplement HDMI and it uses data packet transmission similar to Ethernet network cables to send video data at high resolutions.
