VS-VS5HD600CW60 is a FRED Pt® Gen 5, ultrafast rectifier diode. This featuring a unique combination of low conduction and switching losses the FRED Pt® Gen 5 is the right choice for soft switched and resonant converters, as well as medium frequency hard switching converters. This device is also ideally suited for HF welding, power converters, and other applications where switching losses are significant portion of the total losses. Approved by UL file E222165.
- Ultrafast and optimized Qrr, best in class forward voltage drop and switching losses trade off
- Optimized for high speed operation
- Reduced RFI and EMI, higher frequency operation
- Reduced snubbing, reduced parts count
- Typical reverse recovery charge is 880nC at TJ = 25°C
- Typical reverse recovery time is 78ns at TJ = 25°C, TO-244 package
- Two diodes common cathode circuit configuration
- Minimum breakdown voltage is 600V (IR = 400μA), typical forward voltage is 1.34V (IF = 300A)
- Typical peak recovery current is 9A (TJ = 25°C)
- Operating junction temperature range from -40 to +175°C
