AD9694 is a quad, 14bit, 500MSPS analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). The device has an on-chip buffer and a sample-and-hold circuit designed for low power, small size, and ease of use. This device is designed for sampling wide bandwidth analogue signals of up to 1.4GHz. The AD9694 is optimized for wide input bandwidth, high sampling rate, excellent linearity and low power in a small package. The quad ADC cores feature a multistage, differential pipelined architecture with integrated output error correction logic. Each ADC features wide bandwidth inputs supporting a variety of user-selectable input ranges. An integrated voltage reference eases design considerations. Typical applications include communications, diversity multiband, multimode digital receivers (3G/4G, W-CDMA, GSM, LTE-A), general-purpose software radios, ultrawideband satellite receivers, instrumentation, radars, signals intelligence (SIGINT).

- SFDR of 82dBFS at 305MHz (1.8V p-p input range) and SNR of 66.8dBFS at 305MHz (1.8Vp-p input range)
- Noise density of -151.5dBFS/Hz (1.8V p-p input range)
- 0.975V, 1.8V and 2.5V DC supply operation
- No missing codes, internal ADC voltage reference and analogue input buffer
- On-chip dithering to improve small signal linearity and 1.4GHz analogue input full power BW
- Flexible differential input range 1.44V p-p to 2.16V p-p (1.8V p-p nominal)
- Amplitude detect bits for efficient AGC implementation
- Differential clock input, integer clock divide by 1, 2, 4 or 8 and on-chip temperature diode
- 72 lead LFCSP-EP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to 105°C
