ADG1221 is a monolithic, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) device containing four independently selectable switches designed on an iCMOS (industrial CMOS) process. iCMOS is a modular manufacturing process combining high voltage CMOS and bipolar technologies. Unlike analogue ICs using conventional CMOS processes, iCMOS components can tolerate high supply voltages while providing increased performance, dramatically lower power consumption, and reduced package size. The ultralow capacitance and exceptionally low charge injection of this switch make it ideal solutions for data acquisition and sample-and-hold applications, where low glitch and fast settling are required. It is used in application such as automatic test equipment, data acquisition systems, battery-powered systems, sample-and-hold systems, audio signal routing, video signal routing, communication systems etc.

- Off capacitance is 1.7pF typical at (VDD = 15V ± 10%, VSS = –15V ± 10%, GND = 0V)
- Off leakage current is ±0.002nA typical
- Supply voltage range is 35V
- On resistance is 120 ohm typical at (VDD = 15V ± 10%, VSS = –15V ± 10%, GND = 0V)
- 960MHz typical -3dB bandwidth at (RL = 50 ohm, CL = 1pF)
- No VL supply required, 3V logic-compatible inputs
- Rail-to-rail operation
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +125°C
- Package style is 10-lead mini small outline (MSOP)
