ADG849 is a monolithic, CMOS SPDT (single pole, double throw) switch that operates with a supply range of 1.8V to 5.5V. This design makes the ADG849 an ideal solution for applications that require minimal distortion through the switch. Each switch of the ADG849 conducts equally well in both directions when on. The device exhibits break-before-make switching action, thus preventing momentary shorting when switching channels. Typical applications include cellular phones, PDAs, battery-powered systems, audio and video signal routing, modems PCMCIA cards, hard drives and relay replacement.

• Ultralow on-resistance of 0.5ohm typical at +25°C and 0.8ohm maximum at -40°C to +125°C, 5V supply
• Excellent audio performance, on-resistance flatness (RFLAT(ON)) of 0.13ohm typical at +25°C
