ADR127 is a micropower, high precision, series mode, band gap reference with sink and source capability. It features high accuracy and low power consumption in a tiny package. It includes a patented temperature-drift curvature correction technique that minimizes the nonlinearities in the output voltage vs. temperature characteristics. It is a low dropout voltage reference, requiring only 1.45V for the device above the nominal output voltage on the input to provide a stable output voltage. This low dropout performance, coupled with the low 85μA operating current, makes the device ideal for battery-powered applications. It is used in applications such as battery-powered instrumentation, portable medical equipment, data acquisition systems, automotive.
