LT1762 is a low noise, LDO, micropower regulator. This device is capable of supplying 150mA of output current with a dropout voltage of 270mV. Designed for use in battery-powered systems, the low 25µA quiescent current makes device an ideal choice. quiescent current is well controlled; it does not rise in dropout as it does with many other regulators. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse battery protection, current limiting, thermal limiting and reverse current protection. It is widely used in application such as cellular phones, battery-powered systems, frequency synthesizers, noise-sensitive instrumentation systems etc.
- Low noise is 20µVRMS (10Hz to 100kHz)
- Operating voltage is 1.8V typ
- Very low shutdown current is <lt/> 1µA
- Stable with 2.2µF output capacitor
- Stable with aluminium, tantalum or ceramic capacitors
- Overcurrent and overtemperature protected
- Operating temperature is −40°C to 125°C, output voltage is 5V typ
- Packaging style is 8-lead plastic MSOP
