KP464XTMA1 is a XENSIV™ digital absolute pressure sensor. It is a high-performance, high-precision miniaturized digital absolute pressure sensor based on a capacitive sensing principle. It is surface micromachined with a monolithic integrated signal conditioning circuit. The device converts a physical pressure into a 10-, 12- or 14-bit digital value and transmits the information via the SPI interface. In addition, a temperature sensor is integrated on chip. Based on the received SPI command, the 10-, 12- or 14-bit temperature information will also be transmitted via the SPI interface. The device has implemented a particular Power-Down Mode which allows the user to even reduce the power consumption of the device. Potential applications includes automotive barometric air pressure sensor (BAP), automotive manifold air flow sensor (MAF), automotive battery monitoring system (BMS), automotive seat comfort system, industrial control, weather stations, altimeters.
