MP5490GC-0000-P is a complete power management solution that is well-suited for the transmitter optical subassembly (TOSA) of optical modules. The MP5490 integrates four high-accuracy current sources (IDx) for distributed feedback (DFB) laser diodes (LDs), and four negative voltage biases for an electro-absorption modulated laser (EML) bias. The MP5490 also provides 4-channel EML current measurements and monitoring photodetector (MPD) current measurements to simplify the design. The integrated 6 channels of high-accuracy and low temperature coefficient analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs) can be used to read the external current, voltage, and temperature to save microcontroller (MCU) resources. via All output rails can be adjusted via the I2C bus or preset the multi-page one-time programmable (MOTP) memory. The MP5490 requires a minimal number of external components, and is available in a space-saving WLCSP-36 (3mmx4.25mm) package.
