Smart evaluation board for high power 4-pair PoE/PoE + PD systems. This evaluation board integrates a high power standard PD PoE interface, lets user try the features of the PM8805 IEEE802.3bt PoE-PD interface with integrated dual-active-bridge. The device is suitable for building the interface of PoE switch mode power supplies for maximum conversion efficiency. It provides a PGD signal that can be used to enable a PWM controller, a DC-DC converter or a LED driver. Identifies which kind of PSE (standard or legacy) it is connected with and provides successful IEEE802.3 af / at / bt classification indication through combination of the T0, T1 and T2 signals (open drain).
