High side current sense amplifier measures a small differential voltage on a high-side shunt resistor and translates it into a ground-referenced output voltage. The gain is internally fixed. Typically applications include automotive current monitoring, notebook computers, DC motor controls, photovoltaic systems, battery chargers and precision current sources.

• 2.8 to 30V wide common-mode operating range
• Wide common-mode surviving range of -0.3 to 60V (load-dump)
• Independent supply and input common-mode voltages
• ICC max = 300µA low current consumption
