AD8290ACPZ-R7 is a CMOS sensor amplifier with current excitation. It contains both an adjustable current source to drive a sensor and a difference amplifier to amplify the signal voltage. The amplifier is set for a fixed gain of 50. It is an excellent solution for both the drive and the sensing aspects required for pressure, temperature, and strain gauge bridges. In addition, because the device operates with low power, works with a range of low supply voltages, and is available in a low profile package, it is suitable for drive/sense circuits in portable electronics as well. It is used in applications such as bridge and sensor drives, portable electronics.
- Supply voltage range from 2.6V to 5.5 V
- Common mode rejection ratio is 20dB typical at (VCC = 2.6V to 5V)
- Input bias current is ±100pA typical at (VCC = 2.6V to 5V, TA = 25°C)
- Small signal bandwidth -3dB is 0.25KHz typical at (VCC = 2.6V to 5V, TA = 25°C)
- Gain drift is ±15ppm/°C typical at (VCC = 2.6V to 5V, TA = 25°C)
- Shutdown current is 10μA maximum at (VCC = 2.6V to 5V, TA = 25°C)
- Excitation current range from 300μA to 1300μA
- Gain nonlinearity is ±0.0075% typical at (VCC = 2.6V to 5V, TA = 25°C)
- Excitation current drift is ±50ppm/°C typical at (VCC = 2.6V to 5V, TA = 25°C)
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C, package style is 16-lead LFCSP-UQ
